Snow...Snow...Snow!

This winter has been a snowy one, and we have only just begun. I think we are on our 4th snow storm now, with the fifth coming tomorrow....

So, with Kate being pregnant and Christian having a not-so-good back, we decided to get a little snow blower. It isn't the greatest but for what we could afford it does make shoveling a lot easier.

The boys did have some fun in it though.

It was so deep Davis couldn't walk, he had to crawl and try to stay on top on it. Besides a few tears... he had fun!

Aidan loves the adventure and nothing can stop him.

Halle is definitely too little for this amount so she watched from her window and yelled to her brothers.

Have Merry (White) Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Tree Hunting

On Sunday we went to cut our Christmas tree down.

It snowed on Saturday so we had a fresh blanket of beautiful white snow to trek around in, finding that (not so) perfect tree.

The added snow of course added to the frustrations of trying to get Davis and Halle through the snow.

We had many melt downs, fall downs, throw downs, etc.

Guess next year we will have to get a sled! But after a few maybes and almosts, we found our tree!

Aidan even helped Daddy cut it down!

Watch our tree fall!

It is good we have strong boys to help Daddy carry it to the car!

We even got back home with enough time to have hot chocolate, decorate the tree, eat pizza, watch a Christmas movie, eat popcorn, and have shakes!

Packer Game

Christian has a friend he knew in college that works in the media department for the Carolina Panthers, so when they were coming to play in Green Bay, we made sure to see him. We visited him in Appleton on Saturday night and he gave us these media passes to get in to the stadium. Thanks Steven! We did not have tickets to the game, but were able to walk down to the field level and Christian even went out on the field. The kids were not allowed on the field but we got really close and saw lots of Packers. Here are some pics from the game. We did go up and sit an watch the first quarter from some unoccupied seats, but that is all the kids could take.

We are standing at the end of the tunnel the Packers run out onto the field from.

We also got Packer bandanas.

We were actually sitting were it reserved for handicap people, but no one was there and the next stadium attendant let us sit there. He even gave us cookies! We could have stayed there the whole game but it was cold and the kids were tired.

You can see the pass we got on Halle's jacket.
