Sorry.......since the creation of Facebook I have not been a faithful blogger. But Facebook it giving me issues with posting pictures and videos so I'm Baaaack!
Since it has been awhile....thought I would update everyone on each kiddo. Youngest First!
Jaron is 6 months old now! Eating some veggies and starting to move. He also sits up and bounces his butt to scoot places. He is still the Happiest baby alive...always smiling, well except the 3 days he had CHICKEN POX! Don't know where that came from but, the other kids were vaccinated and did not get it! He is a cuddler,... soo much that he still gets up a every few hours at night to say hi to Mommy...the booger! He is a little video of him banging away!
Halle is 2 and definitely acts her age! She sleeps in a big bed now and is very girlie....loves shoes, "necolaces", spin arounds(dresses), and her babies. She talks very well and screams at her brothers a lot too! She is Daddy's little princess and I think she knows it!
Davis is almost 4 and is totally into Legos. We have the smallest set of Legos thanks to Great Granny from xmass last year and he spends hours putting together and taking apart the few Leogs into different characters or vehicles. He does miss his brother during the day but gets the toys to himself(well mostly until Halle wants to play too then there is a lot of screaming). He still has the cutest smile and killer eyes!
Aidan is 5 and half and in Kindergarten at Daddy's school. He has only made it to his office 2 times! (well and the principle twice too) But he is reading at the 1st grade level and is a wiz in math! He also does a great rap(think Fresh Prince).
He still loves to role play any and every superhero. And his baby brother still looks just like him!
Next weekend is Trick or Treating! And having 4 kids to dress up we did Ninja Turtles! Here is a preview!

Egg Rolls
Overheard tonight at the dinner table, whilst eating Chinese take-out...
Daddy: You know why they're called egg rolls right? The cooks roll eggs down a hill and then when they get to the bottom they look like that.
(Pause as Grandma and Mommy give Aidan the "he's crazy" look)
Aidan: No, that's not how they do it. You have to cook them after they roll down the hill!

Pro Pitcher
Aidan has picked up the man scratch now at home and in public. This weekend, I (C) was playing baseball with the boys in the backyard. Between pitches Aidan would scratch himself and I (for the 100th time) told him to stop it. He replied, "Daddy, I'm a pitcher. When I do that, it means I am ready to pitch."

Bible + Bed Time
Tonight at bedtime we finished one of our three favorite kids' Bibles, The Step-by-Step Bible. Like any good evangelical kids' Bible it includes a summary page and closes with an invitation to ask Jesus to take away your sins.
The third to last paragraph talks about how Jesus was the promised Messiah for Israel to take away their sins. Davis asks, "Why does God take away our sins?" I explain to Davis that unless God takes away our sins we can't be with God in heaven or live with Him on earth. "Oh," Davis replies.
The next paragraph talked about Jesus' life, death and resurrection and how he has sent his Holy Spirit to guide us. Davis asks, "Why does he guide us?" I explain that we need his help and guidance to live with God and please him and that the Holy Spirit does this by living inside of us.
Davis: "Does he live in our stomachs?"
Daddy: "No, he lives in our hearts, but not..."
Aidan (interrupting): "Yeah, he lives right here." (Pointing to the upper left side of his chest)
Davis (With his shirt now pulled up and pointing to the base of his neck below his adam's apple): "Does he live here?"
Daddy: "No, he doesn't live in our bodies, he lives in your spiritual heart, your, ah, soul."
Davis: "Where is our soul?"
Daddy: "It's inside you. You can't see it."
Aidan: "I can see it."
Daddy: "No one can see their soul."
Aidan: "I can. If I cut myself open right here." (Again pointing to his chest)
Daddy: "No, you can't cut yourself open and see your soul."
Davis (Still with his shirt pulled up): "What if I cut here?" (Pointing somewhere between his neck and stomach)
Daddy: "Nope. You can't cut anywhere and see your soul. It's spiritual and so is the Holy Spirit."
Aidan: "What if I cut my adam's apple open?"
Daddy (Now sensing that this conversation is starting to drift from its original location): "Let's get back to the Bible."

A Couple More...
Aidan: "I can't see him."
Dad: "Well... he's higher than outer space. Heaven is not on earth, in the sky or outerspace."

A Couple More for Grammie...
Grammie and Pop Pop were visiting a couple weeks ago and during their stay our boys dropped these...
Davis, when seeing the snow leaving us, "Grammie look, the grass is melting!"
When Grammie got her greek salad at Panera, Aidan saw the cheese on top and said, "No Grammie! You don't put popcorn on salad!"

Some Catching Up....
Sorry it has been awhile since you have seen new pictures on here. I am going to try to catch you all up on our lives, yes, even the parents.
Christian has been busy with his awesome bball team this year. They have a great record and have won multiple tournaments, got 2nd at the state tourney and are now on their way to the Lutheran Grade School Nationals in IN in 2 weeks.
Kate is getting bigger, this pic was from last Friday! Less than 5 weeks to go!
Aidan is learning lots at school and plays bball whenever he can at home. We need to put a cement patio in our backyard this spring so he can play bball out side. (Anybody want to help?)
Davis is potty training, and doing pretty good. He even stays dry most nights! He also loves his new sleeping bag he got from Granny for his bday! He even takes naps in it.
Halle is turning into a little girl. Talking aaalll the time! She is definitely a fighter when it comes to her brothers pushing her around. She is going to be one tough chick! She also still looks just like her mommy did, and is still determined to sit on mommy's lap (which doesn't exsist anymore). But, she is a Daddy's girl for sure!
We are definitely tired of winter here and loved having a 60 degree day last Friday, we took advantage and went to the zoo. Where a lion surprised Halle by coming to the glass and terrified her! It was a lot of fun!
I think that is it. Maybe more soon! Love you all!

....Or What?
Am I a Preschool Boy...or What?
Aidan came home from school today with a dirty shirt and a dirty face! Can you guess where the dirt came from?
He is also giving spelling a try!
Do I like Spiderman....or What?
Davis loves his spiderman...tries to wear the PJs everynight!
Am I a cute receptionist....or what?
Halle saw Mommy working on the phone and wanted to be a Big girl too!

Christmas #2
On Christmas day we went up to Grandma's house and Camp.
We had a lot of fun playing in the snow.

Halle had a Ladybug Christmas to add to her collection!
It was a Transformer Christmas for the boys, complete with a toy, a robe, and PJ's.
Thanks Grandma!
We also went to camp for more winter fun! On Ice! Davis and Halle ran around playing ice soccer and hockey with too big of sticks, most of the time.
Aidan even ice skated for the first time, and was really good at it!

Christmas #1
This year we decided to stay home to have Christmas, then went to visit family, so the kids ended up with many Christmas's. So stay tuned as a post about each "Christmas" in the next few days.
Aidan was in his first Christmas Eve Program at his school. He didn't really sing much, but at least he smiled!
The kids waiting patiently to open their presents.
We all loved the new books we got from Auntie Gail. We have read them all!

The boys were so happy to see Ninja Turtles when they opened their presents from Great Granny!
....and Legos
... and girl toys! Finally Halle gets to play with dolls instead of cars (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Mommy even made the boys Ninja Turtle shells! The boys wore them for 3 days straight! (Over clean clothes of course.)
Thank you so much for the Gifts! We love you!

Snow Day!
All that snow we got turned into a perfect playing and packing snow a few days later when it got warmer.
The boys (including Daddy) had a blast digging, making forts, wrestling, and throwing snow balls at each other.

Mommy even got in the fun and helped the boys make a snow man.
What a great start to our Christmas vacation, which you will see many more posts and pics about next.

Snow...Snow...Snow!
This winter has been a snowy one, and we have only just begun. I think we are on our 4th snow storm now, with the fifth coming tomorrow....
So, with Kate being pregnant and Christian having a not-so-good back, we decided to get a little snow blower. It isn't the greatest but for what we could afford it does make shoveling a lot easier.
The boys did have some fun in it though.
It was so deep Davis couldn't walk, he had to crawl and try to stay on top on it. Besides a few tears... he had fun!
Aidan loves the adventure and nothing can stop him.
Halle is definitely too little for this amount so she watched from her window and yelled to her brothers.
Have Merry (White) Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Tree Hunting
On Sunday we went to cut our Christmas tree down.
It snowed on Saturday so we had a fresh blanket of beautiful white snow to trek around in, finding that (not so) perfect tree.
The added snow of course added to the frustrations of trying to get Davis and Halle through the snow.
We had many melt downs, fall downs, throw downs, etc.
Guess next year we will have to get a sled! But after a few maybes and almosts, we found our tree!
Aidan even helped Daddy cut it down!
Watch our tree fall!
It is good we have strong boys to help Daddy carry it to the car!
We even got back home with enough time to have hot chocolate, decorate the tree, eat pizza, watch a Christmas movie, eat popcorn, and have shakes!
